Brand Awareness Scripts
RESONATE makes power backups for Wi-Fi routers, allowing users to access the internet even during power cuts. Although its products are in demand, the brand was relatively unknown and required a film campaign to create brand awareness.
A series of shorts titled "Don't be Medieval" were written. The idea was to show methods of gaining information and entertainment without the internet. The brand and their aim to provide uninterrupted internet were established through humorous ads.

INT. LIBRARY - DAY
A highschool boy in sweatpants bursts in. He looks distressed.
He paces the aisles and pulls books out of their shelves. He sits on the floor, surrounded by thick encyclopaedias and flips the pages frantically.
The librarian, a bony woman, hair pulled back in a slick bun walks towards him. He grabs her by the shoulders and demands an answer.

A man stands on a podium and reads out a list of his opinions from a sheet of paper.
Most people look at him oddly and walk past. A few stand and nod in agreement. Some give a thumbs up, some a thumbs down.
He holds up a picture of his cat. A few people gasp in awe and clap.
